Europe

When I was fifteen years old I got to go on a family trip to Germany, Austria, and Italy for two weeks. It was the most amazing trip I have ever been on and I still remember so much of it to this day. One of the things I remember most is the art painted on all the old fashioned buildings in each of the European countries. It was not just painted on the walls though--statues and old fountains were always in the center of every city and little town. I believe that this relates so much to humanities because of how much art is still important in the modern world. All the art that decorates the towns is usually very old which was also a create way to explain the history of each little town too. The outside and inside of the churches were all amazing as well.
I believe it shows how much art and the history of it is so important to the modern world. I even watched people continue to maintain it all and the locals greatly enjoyed it. Some paintings simply decorated the buildings even more or some told a story of people that once lived in the town. It all reminded me so much of the art on Leavenworth's buildings as well.
